I've been watching all the chatter about Kubota Orange, and with special interest in the New Kbota Orange at TSC which matches my New B2920.
I had a real interesting experience yesterday afternoon at my local TSC. I went in looking for several things, and figured I'd go by the paint dept. totally not expecting to see any of the New Kbota Orange #5339-27 spray cans, but wow they had many cans. I scooped one up, and now I wish I'd have grabbed at least one more. Anyway I'm standing there maybe 1 minute surveying what else they had, and wouldn't you know it the paint police showed up. A young lady employee comes up with a shopping cart looks at me and my can, and says hello. I responded in kind, but no more, and then she proceeded to remove all of those New Kbota Orange cans. Well I wasn't about to say anything extra in fear she might ask which orange paint I had. I'm not sure what the implications of that might be, and I was just happy to have this one can. I went ahead and walked away to avoid further conversation and walked to the area along the back wall where the swinging doors are to the stock room. I'm looking at other items as she passes by and through the swinging doors to the back. I could then hear her loading the cans in a box, and then using a tape dispenser to tape it up. I am guessing as others have that Kubota made it clear their name should not be used on these cans even if spelled KBOTA.
Now since this paint is by Valspar, is it then the same paint as the Lowe's Valspar Autumn Crush #65077 ? Cheaper to boot at Lowe's if so.
