Dearborn 2 bottom model 10-1

I have a 1943 2n. It is in good running condition. Will it be able to handle a Dearborn 2 bottom model 10-1 plow? I found one today for $300. It is in good shape. Even still has the chains on it. It sat in a barn for a long time. Worth $300?

It is worth $300 as long as nothing breaks or wears out. Parts are not available at a reasonable price for that plow. Ken Sweet

I have a Model 10-1 plow. I discovered that the frogs from an old sprung Leinbach 2 bottom plow that I had would bolt right up to the Dearborn plow shafts, so the wear parts that fit Leinbach plows (maybe Ford 101) will bolt to the Dearborn frame. I get my parts at my local Leinbach dealer. The parts are not a perfect fit, but very good fit. Mostly, the landside seems to not sit flat on the ground, but turn up towards the rear by about 2 or 3 inches, and no provision for the rolling landside. Doesn't seem to affect the plowing.

I could use a contact # for the supplier. I have a waiting list. I don't think my guys will pay $100 per share, Maybe $35 -$45. Ken Sweet

I'll post over at ytmag.. I know plenty of people that have that plow and I hear them getting paerts for them commonly. I have a 10-1 as well.. but with good wear parts.

All I can find is The Amish Foundry willing to supply parts for a rebuild for $500. Ken Sweet
