RTV 500 or Mule 610?

The RTV 500 was announced but wasn't out when I bought my Mule 610 a couple years ago. I paid $6,100, I think it listed for $6,700 then. I mentioned on another post here that it's been trouble free, just sips gas, and I am totally satisfied. Were I buying now I would certainly look at the RTV 500 too, especially if it's just $300 more. Make sure you post back with what you decide!

I bought bedliner in a spray can for $7 a can from Walmart. Worked great.

Are you still pleased with the rtv 500? I will probably be buying the 610 or the rtv 500 this weekend. I have a b2620 with the backhoe, so I like the quality of kubota's.

Any issues on the 500?

This board also helped me make my decision for the RTV 500. No regrets at all for me. The 610 just didn't compare with the quality of the Kubota. Also, I wasn't a fan of the Kawasaki Dealer in my area. You will like the benefit of fuel injection....the 610 struggled to start at the dealer I visited.

Either machine will be fun, but I am sold on Kubota from here on out. Pay a little extra and have a machine for a lifetime...that's what I have been telling myself anyway.

It seems that I remember reading a few months ago about transmission lock ups with the RTV900's. Has their been any problems with the RTV500? I bought a new Mule 2510 in 1997, and the thing has been totally reliable, however, am considering the RTV500, due to Kubota quality, fuel injection, etc.

The RTV 500 doesn't have that same lock up problem, they shift very smoothly.
