You are making great progress, a lot of work in the heat. Are you going to be pouring floors soon? Looks pretty close.

Sam, help me understand something here. I see a "footer" under the wall. It appears that your gravel is up to the level of the "footer". I don't know if the pics are just playing tricks on my eyes or what but once you pour the floor will you still have 8 foot of wall in your house? I know zero about this kind of build so help me out here, please. I don't know how thick your floor is going to be so it confuses me when I look at the pics and how much will be on top of the "footers".

The floors will be poured four inches above the footing and you are correct this will take away from the eight foot walls.

We are getting closer but we are not ready to schedule the concrete yet. Date is unknown?

We almost finished the last HVAC loop and we got all but two conduits from the kitchen and great room areas to the main power panel location. The power conduits in the garage still remain.

Besides a concrete shortage in Oklahoma, Sam is responsible for a PVC shortage.

It's truly a pleasure to share with of you all. I would classify many of us as dreamers and creators. We have the passion bring our dreams to reality and many times we find our motivation from the success of others shared at great places like Tractor by Net. I have gotten lots of help from you all and I hope my project can inspire many of you to consider the importance of becoming self reliant. I would also like to point out the importance of the many awesome photographs that we all share. You can really participate in the project. It is like being there.

We finished the HVAC pressure loop system and we only have one conduit left in the great room. We have had difficulty fabricating a multi-conduit positioner. I was going to drill three rows of eleven holes an inch and a half on center apart but I can't find a drill bit of 1.025 to securely hold the conduits until I can secure with some concrete. We ran out of the 3/4 inch chip to finish the great room. We are getting close to pouring our floors.

Looks good, Sam. I think the day you post you are pouring concrete, all the TBN'ers should crack open a cold one in your honor. :thumbsup:
