Just answer the question please, we can talk about your 'feelings' in different thread.
You don't need to buy an injection molder Iron Horse. Just design the caps, state a quantity desired, post your drawings on mfg.com and you will get numerous quotes on the job. The quotes may be from anywhere in the world and pricing may be all over the place. It is an excellent resource for anyone that wants something made, has a design, but does'nt have the equipment available. Also, all the manufacturers that have did business previously have received ratings from the purchaser - think Ebay feedback. Check it out as it is free for the folks submitting designs for quote - those quoting the jobs do the paying for the service.I think the first person that comes up with a course thread plastic screw cap that can utilise the partial thread that is now moulded in the case that will replace these non adjustable pieces of .... will make a killing . Hmmmmmmm how much IS an injection moulder ?![]()
I just got an MS290 with the flip-caps and was concerned (because of posts like these) but after 20+ hours I have had zero issues with them. They require a bit more care when putting them back on. You can't just drop them in and spin them. You have to line it up, it only goes in one way. I appreciate the quarter turn and positive lock design.
