What would you change about your current John Deere tractor?

Wonder if I should put a cab and seat belts on my B? Heck, this didn't even come with a water pump or thermostat! Guess we've gotten away from KISS for tractors.

Nice looking rig Wayne; but a chrome exhaust stack, work light, and a backrest on the seat makes it a notch above a KISS tractor.

increase its width at the rear axle back to what it was on the 4310 or even 2 additional inches beyond that.

I would have them put some hinge pins on my 4520 cab that don't fall apart. The lock washer thingy on the bottom hinge is gone and the pin is working it's way out again. 2nd time having to fool with it.

On my list of changes:
4520: Bigger hyd pump for implements.
4520: Full rear remotes instead of diverter.
4520: Protection for steering cylinder hoses

2305: Oil dipstick that doesn't require hood/ cowling opening
2305: Factory skid pan to protect fan and hyd filter

448 BH: Bigger boom cylinder. The factory cylinder is a shade too small
448 BH: Factory hyd thumb

All in all though I've been pleased with the 3 JD CUT's so far.

I've wondered about that, too... seems that a number of other CUT manufacturer offers a thumb. Why not JD?

I drilled a small hole in mine and put a cotter key in them it keeps them from coming out.I couldn't keep the lock washers on them.

That looks like a hard thing to do. Maybe I should order some new pins and do it to them and then swap them out.

I did mine while they were on the tractor, let the drill bit do the work, nice and slow.

Cool deal - I'll give that a try.

The dealer put a couple nuts on them the last time and they are holding right now. I still think it is a crap design.

Since I took the MMM off the the 755 it could use an extra step to get on it easier.

The joystick on the 3520 cab could be shaped better so that it doesn't rub on my knee.
