firearm attachment-is there such a thing?

I agree!! I carry a Ruger Mark 2 . I am right handed and carry it on my left side to cross draw. I drive more with the left and operate the lift and controlls with the right so it works well to cross draw. With your arm up on the wheel anyway it's more out of the way.
I also agree, I would much rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.....Kind of like the Crimson Trace laser I have on it too.....

I carry and I believe it is your right to do so, SO I exercise my right- quite often. Don稚 know about others but the dang armadillos have showed up in West TN? I have hunted the same place for 20 yrs Ten yrs ago saw our first turkey and now they are like our deer- everywhere. Saw the first dang armadillo a few yrs ago and now they are digging up my plots? Now if I could just hit the dang running things I might be helping control population. Anyone else have these things in their food plots?

You guys are just making me sick. (Not at you!) But sick that in our state of WI it is against the law to have a loaded or even uncased weapon available in or on a vehicle. .

time to tell your elected officials that you are tired of living without some of the basic human rights that neighbors in other states enjoy.. and that if it goes on much longer they will need a new job.

It's really unfortunate that there are two states (IL and WI) that do not recognize human rights.
If you do some research on gun forums (The High Road would be a good start), you find there is a pretty strong movement to correct the grievous error on the part of your state government. I suggest you look into this and join that movement...as well as the NRA.

Most states have laws like that, but they very seldom apply to your own private property,. If they do apply to your own private property, then I would get a CCW permit or just hide the weapon, :D.
B.T.W. I do not go outside without sending my early warning system out first, Hanz my German Shepherd, and I do not go out without a weapon that will protect myself or Hanz from Griz & Black Bear, Cougars, Wolves, etc... :D :D :D KC

Well, in WI, the do apply explicitly to private property and they are acted on regularly. I know several people that have gotten $240 tickets for leaning a shotgun against a tire. (honest) That's the DNR at work "protecting" us.

I've contacted them so often, the don't want to hear from me any more.

Yeah, I am following and supporting that movement. But as long as the cities of Milwaukee, Janesville and Madison are in control, there is really nothing that will get done. They are so liberal it's stupid crazy. Why is it that liberal Dem cities are so full of crime and rural conservative towns are not? (don't need to answer, I already know) I don't hold out much hope for (and I hate to use the word) change in state policy. Maybe there are going to be enough awake sheeple to vote out the bums and vote in some normal people, but I doubt it. Many of the folks around here even still think Bush is responsible for every ill in the country. True sheeple, you expect to see a dog herd them around. At a 4th of July BBQ, I got into it with a guy that swore I wasn't giving BHO enough respect because he hadn't had time to fix "the mess Bush made". And no, he couldn't identify a single item of "mess" and he also failed to accept that BHO was in any way shape or form accountable - even for the things he has done. In fact, he was blaming Bush for the slow response on the oil well leak! The sheep walk on 2 legs here.

Folks, let's don't forget that politics is a prohibited topic on TBN.

Any statistics on open carriers becoming victims BECAUSE of their gun? Seems like guns would be quick cash and you can't protect yourself from being sucker punched at all times.

I'll take my chances any time.. IE.. being the guy with a gun in a fist fight. I'm sure statistically the guy with the gun looses now and then.. but you would have lost without the gun too..

I prefer CC let them make the first move THEN show your cards..
