firearm attachment-is there such a thing?

Yeah I figure this should make chain sawing obsolete, I am working on the 3pt ammo "tank" and the cartridge belt "chuteing" to get those big 30MM rounds up to the front end mount:laughing: And dont forget the TV camera/sighting system to allow you to remain in your seat and just use an LCD monitor to do the sighting function. Isn't it crazy what you can come up with when you let your mind wander on a lazy afternoon? I have fired several machine guns, but I have never even seen a rotary barreled "gatteling" type cannon, or Minigun, let alone fire one. I would like to tho. I need to get to be friends with Mike Dillon I guess. I have one of his reloading presses, I wonder if that would cut any ice?:laughing: Oh well, just having fun thinking out-loud.

Yup! Exactly! An easy going day, coupled with no budget, allows this to develop too. The 3PH ammo box is definitely deluxe. We'll need to have a brass catcher too. Can't leave those spent shells littered all over the woodlot. :laughing:

I have considered mounting a pistol on my tractor. But in 10 years of tractor work on my farm I have only had two occasions where I could have used a gun. Once I saw a copper head when I had my dogs with me. I drove over the copper head and pivoted the front tire on it to kill it. Just running over it didn't seem to do the trick. I have only seen a coyote that was close enough to shoot once. It was hanging around the hay field catching mice while I mowed but it ran of as soon as I stopped the tractor. I probably would not of been able to get off a shot unless I shot from the moving tractor. So it doesn't seem worth the effort to carry a pistol for 10 years only need it once.

If I lived near the Mexican border or some place like it that had drug and gun running traffic I would probably carry my Mini-14 but I would probably be out gunned anyway.

I own 30+ acres of meadow/forest, with access to the adjacent govt. land. generally carry a 38 Special revolving tool with 2 snake shot/3 158 gr SJHP. Never know what I will need/find. Tough to freeze all situations while I run back to the house to get to my toolbox. Would never think to question another's decisions re: firearms. Boy Scout motto (Be Prepared) always went a long way for me.....
