I am sure you got a good deal ... I am leaning towards the Rafter M grapple ... will build my own accumlator, for the FEL ...

$3500 for the accumulator and grapple.

I need to replace some springs and modify the grapple.

I have plenty of winter projects. I need to get that grapple ready to go.

I better get a working baler also. :)

Is the accumulator the pull behind the baler or the FEL mount?

I got an e-mail from ATI today and talked to hay tech. ATI makes a plate for Hay Tech that supports both of my loaders. I can buy it directly from Hay Tech. Cool deal eh?

It is in my mind. I need to get after cutting off that old mount.

I figured I would let people know - the ATI guys make all kinds of stuff.

Plate came in

I hope the hardware is coming in a separate box.

Looks like it only support the 500, not the 400 loader.

All you need to do is add a second set of pins to fit your other loader, the top hooks are the same.

I hope you didn't pay to much for that?

Right can add another set of pins. I am going to see how it feels on my 5525 tractor. I have the thumb switch for the 3rd valve, so I think I will be using it, but who knows.

Probably paid too much, but my time is worth something. It is well done.

Worksaver makes front loader mounting brackets that can be bolted or welded. If you go to their website worksaver.com. Under the tab Product line is a category for Optional Front Loader Brackets (for Worksaver Implements). The #831640 fits the John Deere 400X loader.

They are a bit spendy. I think around $350 but it would be another option.
