I think you're on the right track....
I am really looking forward to running this tractor and hauling it back if all looks good (mechanically of course) -- I could use some type of fork installation, will decide on that after I see the bucket configuration.
I have an answer for one of your questions - I built a set of strap-on forks and described them in this thread (http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/86838-pallet-forks.html#post970208). They do everything I need - handle limbs, pallets, lift my implements for storage. If that is a heavy duty loader you might want something better but I haven't found a need for anything more than this.
