Truck full of Kubotas!

I bought an L3700. I had swung by the Duluth dealer and when I went there he just had no selection in the range I was looking -- all he had was a couple BXs, a B2920, and a L3940 cab. the guys over in WI had a *much* better selection and were very very helpful, they pretty much let me and the wife roam around and play unmolested for hours with no salesman type pressure, and were great about answering questions when we had them. honestly even if they gave me a better price I would have felt bad buying from someone else at that point. I got quotes from Barlow's also and while he was a little bit cheaper it was almost a wash after delivery.

I suspect Lulich may be at an advantage over here too since if they deliver a tractor over state lines they don't have to collect sales tax...technically you're supposed to claim & pay it with your taxes but I bet a lot of people don't.

I only went to the dealer in Duluth the one time, they may be perfectly fine, but at the time they just didn't have what I wanted and the other guys treated us well enough I didn't want to bail on them.

Or maybe the sign means one NH?

He only said it Appeared to be a NH. If that were the sign it would have been more apparent and he would have known it was NH. The brand that shone was the Kubota, so it had to have been a sign from the Kubota gods and why would they want him to buy a NH? :p:laughing::thumbsup:

What options did you get...did it come with FEL?

The L3700SU seems to me to be a real good value...roughly what type of % discount did you get. I still have not made it over to WI but will soon. Just bought 40 acres up by Brimson...we also have a cabin up there...plus 80 acres here in Clover Valley...lots of "play" area! Tom R

we just got the loader & backhoe, and I picked up a used snowblower from the deere dealer out in the west end of duluth. it was a bit of a stretch to afford the thing in the first place so I'm trying to scrimp and pick up used implements.

I came to the same conclusion about bang for the buck with the L3700, we were originally thinking about a B2920 or B3200 and it was literally only about a 1500-2k jump up to the L3700, and we are planning on doing some land clearing so the extra heft will be very welcome. if you aren't going to try and mow the nice part of the lawn with it I would wholeheartedly recommend the step up in size...our "nice" lawn is easily handled with a push mower.

I got about 15% off msrp, which seems to be about what most are able to get. Barlow's was $1200 cheaper than Lulich, but then you're looking at 700-800 for delivery, so I decided that was a small enough difference to buy local.

I only have 10 acres, so this thing is probably borderline overkill, but I'm pretty happy with the size...any smaller and I think it'd be too easy to toss around digging, any bigger and I wouldn't be able to get it in my garage or pull it with my truck. it's surprisingly maneuverable for something of its size.

"Just" a loader and backhoe! I assume the snowblower is rear PTO driven?

Sounds great to me...Tom R
