Do you have quirks in your life? If it is the right word; I mean like a lock that needs special push or pull to open?

This morning I realized the lever for my left turn signal in my jeep returns well when it is cold. When the temperature gets above 70, it does not return at all.

Means in real life I turn left and comment: "Boy, it is chilly today"

Some people blame it on gremlins, I think the spring just needs to be replaced but it is very far down on my list.

Prokop ---I 've got a few that bug me but are insignificant enough to not make it to the top of my honey do list...I would bet everyone has those quirks. Have you ever noticed just as you thought you had caught up on all repairs ...something else breaks....

Not only that, Bob, but major appliances can sniff money in the bank. When I think I am getting better off, something major brakes:(

We have a gate in our fence. When it is humid, the post with the latch on it leans away from the gate and we cannot latch the fence, so we adjust the latch bar out to engage the latch. Then when it is dry, the post leans towards the gate and we cannot open it and have to slide the latch bar back a half an inch. It has been like this for 12 years. It is a quirk of our house. :)

Thats why those quirks should never be fixed, because if it is fixed and the gremlins will find out you may have a worst quirk to worry about.

Prokop, It is so funny you said that...that has been a long standing joke between my son and me. He just received a nice sum of money and I jokingly said..." Look out now..folks are going to know you have money and something will break or they will be after a chunk of it " He immediately said..." don't say that you have put the hex on me " He called me yesterday and said his Termite contract had expired after 7 yrs. and now he has to pay to have it renewed and his golf cart broke and they can't find the parts....He blames me for bringing on bad Mo Jo...LOL

Remember the juke box on Happy Days that Fonzie had to hit just in the right place to make it work? Sometimes quirks and knowing how to get around them will make you look cool.

Part of my home does not have a basement under it, just a crawl space and the floor in the room over that area of the house sqeeks some in the winter and stops completely in the spring and summer and fall. Gets on my wifes nerves more than mine. Ken Sweet

I have a florescent light that won't turn on when it's really hot. And a garage radio whose tuning drifts with the temperature.
But I have fixes. For instance I don't bad mouth, or praise my car where it can hear me.
