Lots and lots of dirt here

I have more dirt than I know what to do with. You guys can have it for free.

I would take all you can send me, and the wife would love to go visiting and bring back a load at a time till she got all you had, but unfortunately the distance gets in the way of all of this.

Today I got to get some quality seat time in with my honey.

The construction company that dumped the dirt came and started leveling it.

I requested that they leave me about 3 or 4 piles so I can play around.

I had to get in there and play for myself.

So, I moved some larger rocks, dumped them over the edges and cut through another pile .

About 2 1/2 hours of fun fun fun.

I got 65 truckloads of dirt about 6 years ago and it only cost me 1200 dollars, and I thought that was GREAT. Seems like I also bought lunch, but I didn't count that. You are lucky!

That's a deal! I was at $100 a tri-axle load cash 3 years ago when we were building. I stopped counting at 30 something Topsoil was another story, that stuff must have some gold in it. Sure was pricey after another 23 loads. I needed the beer

Hooray for free dirt!! We had the culvert dug out on our neighborhood road and replaced it with a rail car bridge. None of the other neighbors wanted the dirt so we got it (40 yds). Still a couple of big piles of soccer ball sized rocks sitting by the bridge that are mine too if no one else grabs them soon. 7
