Re-starting after roll over

Any recommendations on what to check after tipping my b3200 HST on its side? Seems to have activated one or more of the kill switches.

Use your manual to locate the safety switches and check them....

Check all fluids carefully. Make sure all fluids are full and where they belong.

It might smoke a little when it first starts. Depending on how long it was on it was on it's side, a little oil might have gotten into the combustion chambers. Should clear up within a couple of minutes. Hope no one was hurt.

If you have fluid on top of the pistons you'll bend a connecting rod if you try to start it.

There are several discussions on damage, or not, from rolling tractors. The odds are of everything being ok, but there is also the possibility of oil leaking past rings and into upper cylinders. THAT is not good and it only takes a little time to remove that as a possibility. Remove the plugs and turn the motor over to blow the oil out.

Remove the plugs and turn the motor over to blow the oil out.

I do believe he has a diesel engine. He might try removing the fuel injectors & then turning the engine over by hand.

Check the deadman switch under the seat. Only reason I know is it happen to me. Good Luck

Thanks all for the advice. Turned out to be something minor - the PTO lever was partially engaged. Once disengaged it fired right up.

Fortunately, I and the machine were pretty much unscathed. Classic conditions for a rollover - very last load at the end of a long day, fading light. Picked up a partial bucket of drainage rock with the FEL, went around to the other side of the tree to fill the other side. Even though the rear wheels were on level ground, the uneven load and the side slope that the front wheels rested on was enough to bring me over - quicker then you might think.

Guess that's what happens when your brain is disengaged...
