I was digging around the barn and ran across some (forgotten) tire chains that I bought at an auction.

The sizes are:
17" x 8'6"
16" x 7'6"
12" x 5'9" (I think it's for front tires or maybe a lawn tractor)

Any idea what they fit and / or a value? I've got a couple for friends that have old tractors (8N, old International utility, old Massey), maybe they will fit theirs?

If it were me, and they were 'good' friends, I would offer the chains to them for free.........it will probably benefit you in the long run.
Otherwise, I would charge 25 to 75 bucks a set(depending on the shape of them), just to get rid of them.

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not sure what they will fit? I doubt they will fit my Kubota, however it's 4WD and I don't think I'll ever need chains.

Although Indiana is mostly flat, I wouldn't discount tire chains........If you need then once..........they are worth their weight in gold.

I have a Kubota 7510 and I need chains. I have a new JD 4320 and no chains, for now. We'll see.

Steve

My tractor is 4WD and I didn't think I would ever need the tire chains either. After last winter I did whatever it took and whatever it cost to get some good tire chains for this winter. I live in Ohio less than a mile from the Indiana state line. I can see Indiana from my front porch.

I didn't think I needed chains for my 4WD last year. I changed my mind after the snowstorm. I am shopping around for a set before snow hits this season.
