I like this site and think it has been very helpful for me and many others.

Personally, I think political correctness is the greatest form of control as the governing authority impresses upon individuals a self-censorship and then corrects any perceived mistakes. This presents a challenge and an obstacle which should impose a self-learning/ growth experience on the individual in question; he/ she should learn to smile and politely express their dissatisfaction while telling someone where to go- and we can all chuckle afterward, lol.

Yeah, I just thought it was the consequence of wearing a baseball cap while working in the sun. To me, that is a complement.

In the book 1984, they used the term Newspeak, which was basically political correctness. I re-read that book a couple of months ago. Wow, he really called some things.

How do you add a picture next to your profile?

Hello.

Go to your "MY HOME".
To the left is "Settings and Options"
Click on "Edit Avatar" and use one of the two options. If you upload a photo from your computer I suggest editing it first for "Web pages" because if it is too large it won't upload. hope this helps
