Hello,
I have seen at least two ways to install rear remotes on the L4400, and is particularly hard to find the correct parts for. If anyone has any pictures, diagrams or just good ideas they will be appreciated.

What I want to do is access the hydraulics from under the seat of the L4400.
A couple of folks on tbn have said they have done it, but when I try to get the dealers to order what I would call a take off or some type of part so I can get flow they look at me like I am crazy.

You folks are incredibly ingenous so I know the answer is out there.

Thanks in advance

The good news is you don't really need ANYTHING from your Kubota
dealer. Yours would not be the first that has no one who understands
these hydraulic issues.

I have not owned an L4400, but many Kubotas have a small add-on
manifold that attaches to the casting under your seat. This allows
you access to the implement pump pressure circuit, between the loader
valves, and the 3-pt cylinder valve. You can get this adapter block
from a number of different places that supply aftermarket hyd implements.
I have seen some made for Kubotas from Gearmore, for example. Woods
and Westendorf are other possibilities.

Details? I did a quick google and got nothing close

I have an L4300 with factory (dealer installed) remotes. Gear trans and no loader. If you want any info or photos posted I can help out.
The dealer did mine because of a great price and the fact that hydraulics scared me.
The other posts are correct, however and while this is not difficult, there is a minor learning curve to conquer.

If you are lucky, your local Kubota dealer has a knowledgeable technical
guy, but you are more likely to find an answer from a tech guy at a
company such as those I mentioned. You might also ask some of our
friends who are Kubota dealers on TBN.

The first of these adapter blocks (manifolds) that I saw was sold by a
knowledgeable Kubota dealer for an L3010, and it was made by Gearmore.
My L2500 had one from another company (not sure who). Here is a
photo of one for an L4300 (which is totally different from an L4400).
It is hard to get a good photo of the installed manifold...it is the silvery
part.

Some Kubotas have their manfolds on the right side of the 3-pt cyl housing
(L4300), and some have theirs on the front/center of the housing. There
are others I have not seen on other Ls, I am sure. Sorry I don't have more
pix from back then....

Here is the parts pages for a L4400HST-1, this is the pages for up to 3 remotes but keep in mind there are 2 different set ups for the remotes. The pre -1 machines had the valve made together. So if you had 1 set of remotes and wanted 2 you had to remove the first set and install a double valve, and the same for a 3 gang valve.

Folks you have given me more than three dealers have, thanks!
Sorry about not giving more details in my previous post.
I have a L4400DT-1 with FEL.
Under the seat, actually to the right of the seat just above where the differential lock comes out of the side of the tractor, is a cover that lets the Hyd fluid make a loop back into the tank. From the drawings DEX361 sent and what I have been able to find out, the Kubota valve (and a spacer) replace this cover when you buy them from the dealer.

I tried with a friend to make a new block this weekend to copy the ports on the cover that I took off and use the block to take off the Hyd feed and return. I got it close, but need a true machine shop set of tools to make it 100%.

I am going to call gear more to see if they have the block.

I will let you know how it goes, again thanks for you help.

I like the Kubota valve setup but it is not cheap. Keep us posted on your success. I think the valves are open center and I have the float detent on the middle valve and it is useful for the box blade or scraper blade to allow it(blade) to float with the contour of the ground instead of rising and falling with the rear wheels.

Wow Dex, that is a handy parts list for the 4400. I am sorting out how to do this for my 'new-to-me' L3400 HST with FEL. I asked the dealer last week but they haven't gotten me any information on it yet.
