1986 JD 430 Cold Start/Snowblower

The 430 has a longer frame due to the radiator. A snow blower that fits a 420 will fit the 430 however the 430 requires 2 things. #1 it requires a pto extension kit in order for the pto shaft to work. This is available from your john deere dealer in parts but not as an assembly. You will have to buy the parts and assemble it yourself or find a used one.
#2. you will need the frame extension bracket which extends your frame out to the front of the tractor and allow the blower to hook up. This is no longer available from Deere but from time to time one shows up on ebay or weekend freedom machines for sale. If you need pics of any of the items, let me know and i will get them to you.
