Kubota UDT or SUDT vs Mystik JT5

UDT is 20w UTTO
SUDT is 10w/20
JD HyGARD is 10w/30

Changing from UDT to JD ( can't get SUDT here ) was very
noticeable increase in rpms at cold and hot (6% ish up ).
20w is too viscous for small fast pumps , hence both Companies
produce a lower visc for their smaller machines.

Seems like this is mainly an I had a proble with JT-5 in my BX thread. I put 7.5 gallons of JT-5 in my B21 yesterday. Everything works fine afterward. In fact it seems better than before. I will report back next time it gets used heavily. But in yesterdays testing the hydrualics seemed stronger and it was quieter.

As for wondering why they are "upping there (sic) SUDT"...well nothing wrong with product improvement- otherwise they'd still be only selling the first tractor they ever made

But, example, is Amsoil had a true synthetic years ago at a cheaper price...I guess it depends on how you define a "synthetic"....Most people will not know..

For me, if their newer oil is better and cheaper, their older fluid was over- priced to start with.

Reminder me, I need to order some stuff, again, from Messicks...Love that place...

After additional use the JT-5 is working great in my B21. After changing the filters and fluid the hydraulics are stronger than before and the transmission is quieter.

My local Kubota dealer laughed when I asked about SUDT. They said they did not have enough in stock and that if I realy wanted to waste my money I could buy the Super SUDT that was coming out soon. So I bought the filters from them and decided to try JT-5 as it should be better than UDT.

Today I drove a mile on the road in high gear then spent 3 hours pushing dirt. Still very happy with the JT-5.
