I was on a site yesterday called mobilehid they had hid lights from $95 to $200. Unless i am mistaken these are the cheapest prices for xenon lights i every seen. We have xenon's on equipment at work and they are amazing.
On a different note i have a L3240 and my aux. connections are on the right side of the seat.

I bought one of these LED Auxiliary Forward Projector Work Light Bright RV: eBay Motors (item 370275299962 end time Dec-08-10 19:23:12 PST) and it came today. I'll let you all know after I install it if I can see beyond the front of the tractor. This place has page after page of LED lights and shipped very fast.

They have a nice low profile. Any idea how many lumens (LED brightness factor) that they are rated for?

The local dealer here mentioned that they sell a lot of that model into the trucking industry ie: backup lights, tow trucks etc. and that the customers are happy with them. They had them on display and they kick off a good light. This round model was cheaper here than the MWL-05's that I picked up.since I was looking for a lower profile and a higher lumen rating.

Saw some cool flashing 3 and 4 LED mini bars that I am trying to find a spot for on the tractor. Knew I shouldn't have looked around in there!! Another project that is going to cost me some explaining to the better half.

That light on the e-bay site list's it input current at 170 Milliamperes. at 12.8 volts. so the input power in watts is 2.176 and of course no lamp is 100% efficient, so I am thinking maybe 1.5 watts output? about like a mini-maglight?

how about this one? they describe it as a 6 watt output. the input power calculates to 16.768 watts, look pretty good.

All this talk about work lights got me thinking.. I'll probably need one too! So I went to TSC and found a magentic 55w halogen work light that plugs into a cig lighter for $24. Done deal. So far works good! Gonna see how bright it is later tonight.
