I belong to several camera forums that have a rule regarding photo posting. The photo size must not exceed 640x480 pixels. I suspect that the reason for the rule has to do with at one time we all had the original and very slow dial-up land line internet connection. To my knowledge TBN does not have this rule.
Times have changed and internet connections have increased at near light speed which now makes downloading photos of larger pixel sizes no longer a timely issue, however there are still forum members who for one reason or another continue to use the older and and slower dial-up connection.
Please poll your internet connection by:
Type in the letter "H" (high speed) if you have other than standard dial-up.
Type in "D" if you have standard dial-up.

But you do understand that it is more than connectivity speed, right? How about space requirements on both ends? Database conversion routines (if applicable), Storage technology? Software versioning, Indexing, access controls, rules and laws applicable to copyright processing? etc. etc.
And some end-users have no choice! I hope you don't think the entire globe and the US of A is covered by "high" speed broadband. Cause it ain't and it's a darn shame. Especially here in the States.
