MMM for 3032E , advice please ........

This model JD3032E with loader , and NOTHING ELSE is being
sold off by JD Australia due to a dead market here. The price
is good , trust me on this ( dollar equiv thesedays , by the way .. ).
They have several of them . No one wants loaders here tbh , so
it's added as a no option ( get rid of it ! ) inclusion .
Now the question ; MMM for 5 acres of lawn , some flat and
alot undulating with dozens of small trees too. A tow behind is
out of the question as my new neighbour wants a MMM machine.
What size and spec should he go for ; I'd like to know what
to tell him , rather than the Dealer just sells what he has
available to him .
He's been left a 2003 X585 ( Kaw water cooled 1300 hrs ) and
it's had its day ! I think this is a no-brainer against a B3030 MMM
with no discounts here at $34000 . JD3000series must be DOA
for this price. Thankyou for your time in reading this.

Problem you may encounter is mid-mount mowers are designed for specific tractors (rather then being generic like a "tow behind" unit would be).
Even mid-mount mowers that are used with various models of a specific brand have mounting brackets that are specific to a particular model tractor.
I have never seen a mid-mount mower offered by an implement dealer such as Woods, Land Pride etc.
I think you're kind of stuck with what the dealer has to offer.

Why is that? Here in the US can't hardly sell a tractor without a FEL:confused2:

Good point about the lack of mid-PTO, Kenny...but since OrangeRidge is writing from Australia, I wonder if it might be available in that market...his post inferred that was what the dealer offered.
Well, maybe OrangeRidge can clarify, if he responds.

While there are none in their current offerings, Woods at one time did offer mid-mount mowers for CUT's.

The Australian JD brochure for the 3032E shows no optional PTO, so no MMM available there.

Thanks for these replies guys .
I'd not investigated MMM's for this model , since I only saw the
advert 3 hours before I posted the thread. I'll 'phone the Dealer
when they open ( 4 hours time ) ,but it's NOT looking good , is
it ?........ One wonders if this is why they're ditching them .
I posted before 'phoning since "forewarned is forearmed".
FEL just don't seem to hit the spot with the type of small holding
that is on offer here . There's alot of flat land with few trees
in Australia and many houses are close to the road , even on 5
acre plots . So short drive-ways , no forest paths , few garden
shrub/tree plantings , hardly any mulching , no fall-leaves or snow.
This combined with pre-prepared subdivisions , with run-off
mitigation already dug , renders the FEL somewhat unwanted.
Looks like he may have to consider a BX 60" or a JD2000 series...........
I'll post when I get the ( bad ) news

As you guys have said , nothing doing for a MMM.
This is marketed at the NH Boomer and Case competition
for small acerage rear slashing/finishing , even though
those do have PTO for MMM. He's now thinking of a
Boomer with MMM .............. choices , choices :laughing:
