World's Smallest Gooseneck Trailer?

All the important questions about this little trailer:
- Do I have enough truck to pull it. That's been beaten to death.
- Do I need a CDL? I haven't seen that one addressed yet.
- Do I need a medical cert. and/or log book?
- Do I have to stop at weigh stations?
- Is there a way I can somehow justify overloading this trailer and yet not get caught or have to pay a fine?

Maybe someone had a custom truck with no bumper or hitch and didn't want one, so they put a gooseneck under their bed cover. Just guessing.

That's another reason why I'd be interested. My bumper is pretty weak, and I don't have a receiver hitch. If it did it would probably be rusted. My bed floor is much more in tact.

A guy in town has one. He uses it for a lawn care bussiness. He can legaly triple with the goose neck. I guess this way he can have two trailers set-up for work. Drop one at one site and the other stays with the truck crew. In MN the lead trailer has to be a goose neck. It looks kind of funny I will see if he is using it for snow removal and take a picture.

I once pulled a Dually Ford Ranger with a Service Body on it out of a ditch. It was the days before cell phone cameras or I would have taken a picture of it.

What a waste of money customizing a POS S-10.

not that the 210 was such a pos.. but why stick that much into one. the 1 ton rear end and hd front suspension must have been from a salvage yard to be affordable.. probably same with the engine.. but all on the s10 frame.. seems not a s worthwhile.

plus it's a hair old at 96...

wow.. lots of money into a 1500$ value truck...

and in the end.. what do you have? I would not pull a large trailer with it.

The trailer in the first post shows that it comes with a plate to put on your bed floor. Not as good as the frame, but sturdier than my bumper.
