As far as the Suburban goes, I have to agree about the "lot rot". It truly is a very nice vehicle, in fact probably the nicest one I've owned and I'm glad to be able to put my wife in it. We really liked the 05 and wanted to move up a few years and liked the new body style.
The point mentioning that the Suburban was in the shop was to say that no matter what (brand) it is **** will happen.
I've have/had owned 3 brand new GM trucks and they served thier purpose well. Of course right out of the box all 3 of them had problems, but so did the Ford trucks I had as well. So as one can see, I've supported both companies and each has had the good and bad.
