Tires reverse wheels?

it works though!

when i filled my first set of tires I jacked them up and did the fuel hose thing. i had gallon jugs of rv af.

I made a rig to hold the jug like an iv bottle, opening down. i put the top crom a gear oil bottle on it and it fit on .. not perfect.. but didn't leak... I then poked a nail hole int he 'bottom' of the jug and let it run in .. took a few minutes.. then I cut the bottom of the jug out, and just kept pouring the others in as it emptied. since i'm in florida, I only put 5g of af in each tire, then did the rest with water.

just enough to keep it going solid onthe few weeks of freezing weather we have.

Get a 12v sprayer pump from TSC and connect it to your truck or mower or tractor.

One way to do it withour power is a slow process but i took a funnel and slipped a hose over it and then continued with smaller hoses till I had a hose small enough to slip inside the stem and still allow a bit of air to eascape then its just fillthe funnel and let it go takes time. attach the funnel to roll bar etc ..

You guys are great....Thanks. I see several said that they added the fluid and........no more air? I presume that the 30% or so of empty tire should be pumped up again with 15# of air (or some other pressure)

Why not poke the hole and use an air compressor to force it in?

it ran in pretty fast as it was.. and un attended. if I use dthe ac I'd be stuck standing there instead of doing other things in the shop.
self burped too.. when one bottle emptied, it let any built up compression out.. then i dumped in the next bottle. real easy setup.

This is a repeat of an above question......we DO need some more air pressure here don't we.....after I've added the fluid????
Thanks

Yep, put the needle valve back in and air it to to 15 lbs or what ever you need. if the wheel is installed on the tractor then I'd make sure the the fill valve is at 12:00 o'clock or above the fluid level in the tire.

I didn't pay that close attention when they loaded my tires, but I would say you need SOME air in the tire.

you air it to the same pressure you normally run it.. that air will be in the top 20-30% of the tire...

if you ran solid water with no air you'd blow the tire or tube first time you hit a obstacle that wanted to deform the tire good bit under load... cuz water don't like to compress!
