What Implement Will You Be Buying For 2011?

Ken--Dont want to get to much off the thread, but in your opinion how is this tarter tiller and hawkline tiller stand up to the Sicam ones. I have heard a lot of really good things about the Sicam tillers but not much on the tarter? Whats the price difference.

The Hawkline is coming out of Ohio and the Tarter is coming out of Ky. The Sicma.Phoenix are coming out of Italy and I suppose some of the difference in price would be shipping costs. I have had real good luck will all 3. No drive train failures on any of them. The 72 inch Hawkline and Tarter are $1695 (geardrive) and the Sicma/Phoenix 74 inch gear drive is $2195. Sicma/Phoenix does make a 72 inch (T8-72) chaindrive model for $1995. Ken Sweet

Tooth bar for my bucket. 42" so I will probably have to by the smallest I can find and cut and weld it to fit.

I believe that a 60 incher would cut out your tracks and pull fine in most soils. If the soil is heavy clay, you may want to drop back to a 48. Ken Sweet

I might try to set up remotes so I can get one that has the hydraulic lift/lower capability. Just takes $$...

We have several used Pitman style mowers that run from $695 to $895 and have been run thru the shop. These mowers will approx 35 degrees above and below horizontal with no cylinder required. We also have 6 used belt drive mowers that will mow 70 degrees below horizontal and 90 degrees vertical. I have 4 7 fts and 2 9 fts. Prices on those run from $1195 to $3150. We also have the new Enorossi 7 ft mowers with hydraulic cylinder for raising to transport for $3695. I will post a few of them below for reference. Ken Sweet

We run a 60" on a B7500 and 85% of the time it is fine. The rest of the time you have to slow down, but it handles it.
