Re-Certifying oxy acetylene tanks in FL

I used to own a lot of cylinders, but now down to almost a dozen or so. A couple are the "larger size" that appear to be 330 cu' but actually are just 251 cu'.
The "clean ring" often gives a clue but is by no means an absolute. Sometimes a larger bottle bears a gas companies name but has the right serial number prefix for a customer owned bottle. Sometimes size delegates c/o no matter what, while sometimes it is only part of the picture.
I suggest finding out bottle cu ft first, and then on to the next step...

Hazmat products are being clamped and have a paper trail that can easily be followed. I have checked with all local distributors. No one will fill a customer owned tank. One company did sell tanks years back and if you have the paperwork they will fill them but they must be recertified every five years at a cost of $65.00 / tank.
I have a lifetime lease, two of the largest capacity tanks available, for $500 including tax and free first fill. The bonus is I can release them to anyone and they will change ownership information .. or ... I can turn them in when done with them and get back 65% of the $500 lease price. It was the best deal I could swing so I did take advantage of their plan. They have a copy of the paperwork so I don't have to bring mine everytime I have them filled. My argon / oxy tank is a five year lease, $95.00 I believe. Again the largest tank and it takes $60.00 per fill. I may go with a lifetime lease with the other company when it comes due.

Or could be like a friend who changes his empty from oxy to argon and back so he has a spare for whichever one of the other two is running the lowest or expects to be needed first. Most companies will switch contents, as long as the h/p bottle is the same for either.
