I think marketing guys have to have thicker skins than, say, engineers. He did seem to do a pretty good job of holding his tongue, all things considered. This is the only tractor board I visit so I don't know if they are promoting it on the other ones.

Did you ever post anything about your inventions?

John

No, I have never (errr....seldom) posted anything on my products here on TBN......Largely because my goods were hunting related products. We produced every item I designed / patented. Some products were sold in pretty substantial quantities...world-wide. I owned over 25 pieces of intellectual property but sold my biz a few years ago....before the down-turn in the economy. Good timing. ;) The folks that bought my brand moved it all overseas. (no further comment)

I've owned three manufacturing companies....all with patented products. All were successful. Now I just think of stuff....and let it pass. These days. I lack the drive and ambition to see a new product to market. Still....I appreciate the folks with an idea....it ain't easy. ;)

Just so everyone knows, we still keep tabs on the thread but since we are not advertising on TBN for the moment, we felt it improper to use the thread as a springboard for advertising. Since at least a couple of TBN members have become HydrauLink owners and have expressed their opinions of HydrauLink on here, we thought it best to take a back seat approach. There's nothing like customer feedback.

We are still available to answer direct questions if you have them though.

Thank you again for the interest, questions and lively debate.

Merry Christmas to all.

Personally I have been one of your defenders, and I plan on trying your product next summer.

If I was wrong, I will post it, if it is what I feel you advertized, I will post that as well.

I am sorry if the negative comments on here drove you away from advertizing here. It is a great site, with a few grouchy apples, that cannot see the forest for the trees

Behind anything new there is an army of skeptics.

I have read this thread from front to back and visited the website. There was a lot of opinions both for and a lot more against. I decided to make up my own mind. I have just bought one on Ebay for 231.98 with the shipping. For that price I thought I would try it. I will let you know how it works and some pics if I remember to take them.

For our customers, a new set of instructions are now available. Over the last few months, we've developed a 'best practises' method to installing and using HydrauLink. This will help you get the most out of your new toplink.

Go to http://hydraulink.net/HydrauLink_Instructions.pdf to download the instructions.

I'm telling you what I'm GLAD that shampoo manufacturers put the directions on the back of the bottles because I guarantee there are a few in this thread that need to use them EVERY SINGLE TIME they wash their hair. I'm 31 yrs old and have A LOT to learn about A LOT of things but IF there is one thing that I've learned in my 31yrs..... COMMON SENSE will go a LONG WAY!
This guy has answered just about every question in this thread and still there are people that cant wrap their minds around this concept.... STOP OVER THINKING THIS this is not rocket science here guys. For the guys that are saying that the HL will leave whoops in your work, please explain to me how the float option work on your FEL?
If you think this is not a good product.... state your opinion and leave it at that, stop asking THE SAME OLD QUESTIONS or bashing this guy because in the end you really only wish you had thought of something like this.

HydrauLink I for one think this is a nice product for the guys that do not have rear remotes and sounds like you are moving forward with new products and some nicely add features!
Keep up the great work and don't let these guys get to ya!

Yep I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning so If I have offended anyone sorry but COME ON.......
