Thanks, that site says 3-4" deep with a 3ft one. That's behind my Massive :) ferguson 16hp MF1010. Based on the pic I'd guess it's about 3ft wide. soil, during spring is soft. Almost zero clay here. Is that deep enough to be useful, or should I just use a tiller and forget it?

I don't think the sweeps will replace a tiller to work up ground in the spring. Usually used to sweep through worked-up and planted ground to kill weeds and as mentioned, hill up around plants.

Most likely you would use this after the ground has been tilled....so sounds like a perfect implement for your tractor. However if you are thinking you are going to bust sod with this....I would pass.

Oh ok, so it's to mound it like corn rows? That type of thing? Using it would be for just a small 1/4 acre or so family garden.
