That is awesome. Wrapping up the electrical should be a walk in the park compared to the CO.

Thinking about it getting the occupancy permit will rate just under your daughters birth and your wedding I'm sure.

Congratulations. It is almost time for the heavy lifting. Moving in. Maybe you can get everyone who has been following this thread to help you move in. It would be easy then. Rick

Thanks everyone for wishing us well. Tonight we went out for dinner to celebrate.

Today my wife called me while I was running an errand and told me about getting the CO. She was really happy. Checking this box is a big relief to her. We now are officially allowed to permanently live on our property.

This morning I checked the gas line pressure guage; it had gone down 1/2 psi. I thought we still had a leak. The H&A guy said that the cold temperature could cause the psi to drop as much as one psi. It was 15 degrees F when I checked the guage. When the temperature warmed up, the psi returned to 15 psi where it was supposed to be. For a while we thought we would have to reschedule the inspection.

Looks like we'll move in next week. We first need to get the natural gas hooked up fand also put in a cat door so the cat can do her business in the garage. Then we should be good to go.
