Has anyone tried "Slime" in the tires

I never had any luck with it. I've tried it on mower tires and wheel barrow tires. I ended up cleaning all the slime out and fixing the tire properly.

I have used it in my Bob Cat zero turn and it has worked very well, but these are small tires and I put 16oz per tire. It would probably take a couple of gallons for my 36" R4.

I have used slime with good results. Yes you have to clean the rim when you put on a new tire but so what.... For all the flats it will save you it is worth it.

I use it all the time with each piece of equipment I have. (3) Quads and (3) Tractors worth. I won't go without it as it has saved me more flats then you can count.

Worth every penny in my opinion, I buy it in gallon containers at Tractor Supply, they are the cheapest around.

I use it in all tubless tires, I dont think it would work good in a tubed tire though.

Tire shops hate it... who can blame them. Do you want to change a tire with air or one with slime.

That said, I'm glad I used it and so far so good.

Their are also military versions... I think marketed under Multi-Seal?

Ive got it in all my tractor and 4 wheeler tires and haven't had any problems
If you have a bad flat that has to be patched it cleans up with water apply patch like normal.

I put slime brand inner tubes on both my wheel barrows that kept going flat, they haven't needed an air top off in over 10 years now. Never have used them on anything bigger.

Thanks for the info, all. The situation we have is that we have already had several flats fixed in the front tires. The shop told us that the tires cannot be fixed any more times.

We plan of foam filling the fronts at some point, but do not have the money at this time.

Actually, around here Harbor Freight has the best price. However, TS is the only place I have found with the right size tubes. I have a tube in on front tire.

We have a pink version up here that I've used in 4x4 highway tires and offroad equipment. As long as it wasn't a rim leak it always worked, to the point that I started installing it as a preventive measure on tires that seemed OK...
In my tractor rears I prefer WWAF however....

Well like most products, it depends on applications, size of hole, placement on tire. I have used Slime on several occasions, and most of the time it is okay. I was unsure if it helped corrosion, or inhibited it? I am looking for Berryman's in a gallon jug?? Jy.
