Wow, those are serious snow movers, nice fab job. Do you mind sharing what the need is for? Just curious Also, it looks like you have power up and down on the lift cylinder, do you need to make sure you lower it enough to float? That cylinder gave me thoughts of putting a solid link to the plow instead of the chain for some extra down force. Please make sure you add action photos of both units. Thx!

What the heck are you plowing with equipment that big not to mention TWO of them.
Note to self.....do not post any more pictures of your plow on TBN. JD6430's tractor and snow blade setup will make mine look like a toy.

The PTO that comes with the LaForge front 3pt hitch was already reversed.
The snow blower was a 540rpm but we geared it up to a 1000rpm.

Only a few people plow in my town so I clear a few driveways and some town roads. I use the plow the most it cost less to operate and save the blower for larger storms or opening up unplowed areas.

I used a double acting cylinder on the plow because it is hooked up to my loader valves and the stock cylinder was gravity down. When I ordered the plow I did not order the pump, controls, lift cylinder, lights or mounting frame and saved over $2000, the new cylinder was easy to hook up and acts quicker than the stock gravity down.
Im going to get some video when the next storm hits.

Those front 3 point hitches are awesome....I'm just thinking what all you could do with one down here in the south.

Front mount mower (gets in the corners)
Post hole digger

Anyone else with any ideas?

How "tough" are they? Could you put a blade on it? Or would the compression be too much as compared to being tension in the rear?

The front hitch is rated for 6600lbs on my tractors and can go up to 8800lbs, yeah they can take a plow.

I have a home built one on my 399 Massey that has an 8 ft snowblower on it now. I also have a heavy duty blade that I snow plowed with before and also have used it as a dozer blade. May try the bushog up front next summer.
