Never had a need to melt snow or ice off it yet

We had snow here in Atlanta at Christmas and I was surprised to get the "Complete signal loss" message. This time it's clear ice. The first time it went off, It was about 1/2 inch of Snow-ice. The second time this afternoon, it was about 1/16 inch of clear ice. It's funny, it keeps working while the ice builds, then quits when the ice gets to a certain thickness.

You should make the handle longer, then you wouldn't even need the ladder

That comes about 3 more bourbon and cokes and then maybe I will use YanMartha's FEL as a mount for my invention.

Nice job, Stan. I've used a garden hose lots of times but it doesn't always work if the temperature isn't cooperating-I'll just need a longer pole ;-)

Yes but you wouldn't want to miss out on the drama of a 60 year old drunk musician with a day off from work due to an ice storm, climbing an iced up ladder with an electric hair dryer masking taped to a karate stick.:laughing:
