Wow, Paul. Nice work! I especially like the non-skid step tread. Very cool and really handy. I had to surf back and forth to see how the box fit in between the struts. The quarter away lights are a great idea. Pulling across traffic on a roadway needs the flashing lights up front like on your loader. Turning into traffic needs those angled lights........ And they look like they were born on the tractor.

I was going to use plywood. Guess I'll have to do it out of metal now... ;)

'Course if you think four days was a long time to fab, you aint seen nothing yet!

Plywood would be good but you'll want to stain it :D Well you got it figured out what I was tiring to do with the design. At one point I was going to leave out the lights and put those end pieces higher and have those as storage units as well but I decided to go with the lights for the shock factor ;)
Man there could be a dozen or more combination's to mounting something up there. Id like to do another one but a completely different design to see what comes out of it but not having a tractor to mount it on I won't.
Yesterday a local dude asked me to build a custom front bumper for his BX2200 so the will be a cool project.

Glad you enjoyed seeing this and as always I appreciate you commenting.

Ed "Big Daddy" Roth gave birth to the "Rat Fink" that took up residence in my pigsty. Actually I haven't seen a blasted mouse in quite some time knock on wood.

My last boss could only dream of looking as good as "Rat Fink;" but she would have to be called "Rat Finkette."

Well it goes without saying your last boss was no looker. Gee that thing looked as if it fell out of an ugly tree and struck every branch on the way down.
Now that I think about it I think my older brother had a model of the Rat Fink back in the late 60's.

I can easily solve your problem of no tractor to mount it on. Let me know if you need pix and dimensions.:D

My spray gun would never forgive me if I loaded it up with green paint

Green and orange look good together too.:D

For that matter, I'm not too proud to have my tractor say Kabota either.

Tractors are like motorcycles to me. I haven't seen one yet I haven't liked. JD is a very fine machine. Sure would look good with a storage box on the front :).

Speaking of looking good....

How do you like the look of it since I got the duels put on?

It's amazing how differently it rides with duels.

It looks like a monster in a good kind of way. I've never seen anything like it. How much HP is it? How old? Looks very cool!

68HP engine, 50HP PTO. Cirra 1980-81.

I bought it used thru CL about 1-1/2 years ago and it came with the duels, but the previous owner had lost the mounting bolts since he never put the duels on it. My Deere dealer had the bolts in stock, but said that duels for my tractor are after market as Deere never made duels for any tractors that small.

The thing which amazed me the most was that all the mounting hardware only cost me $63.95US after tax.:confused2:
