Was anyone considering the Kubota MX5100 HST ?

I test drove a MX5100 and it was a nice tractor. Most things were extra that others were offering as standard was one reason I didn't purchase one. I believe it was $600 to add one set of remotes. I also thought the rear end was a little light for a 50hp tractor. Overall it is a nice looking outfit though.

i just bought a MX5100 HST 4x4 fel back in oct.an i gave $24000 delivered for it.i priced a 8n Boomer NH 4x4 fel for $36,000.so i saved $12,000.

you cant compare a Boomer 8N. they are a special tractor and you can get a 55hp 4x4 with FEL from NH for $25,000

no one in history has ever regretted purchasing a Kubota anything. For me, the deciding factor is the opinion i hold of the dealer with whom i'm going to be dealing with for parts/service.

i beg to differ on that. Kubota for the most part is to light and the hydraulics are slow.

yes its a special tractor.but it wont do what the MX5100 HST can do.i looked at HST tractors for alnost a year before i pulled the trigger.JD CASE IH NH could not do what i was asking them todo.they said the tractor wasnt heavy enough.an that the loader couldnt handle what i was asking it to.my tractor will lift the big heavy bales no prob.an i always put the bale on the rear 1st.now 4 by 5 an 4 by 6 i can do on the loader without a bale on the rear.plus the 4x4 will go through the mudd carring those heavy bales.but you cant get a 52hp HST NH tractor because they dont make them that big.

I'd disagree with this. But I'd also disagree that no one has ever been disappointed with the purchase of a Kubota. Those crap inching 3 ph valves caused no end of grief for many owners.

yes the biggest they make is a 50 hp HST so true 2hp less. i dont know what tractor you are talking about wouldnt pickup hay, but even a NH T1530, which is a smaller 45 hp will pickup any round bale and you can een load up onto a trailer. i have seen it and done it personally.

well they told me the tractor would flipp over.i even had a kub dealer tell me that it wouldnt do what i wanted it to.but my dealer proved that it would.weve hayed with it most of the winter an loaded hay on goosenecks with it.
