Is there any value to going out and plowing the slush off the road before it gets cold again tonight? Or, am I just looking for an excuse?

Want to guess what I just got back from doing?
Around here this winter we have had above average snowfall so far this season which means plenty of "playtime" I mean snowremoval for me. I was talking to a co-worker the other day and she was telling me that she was figuring out her finances and whether she could afford a vacation to some place warm and free of snow. I told her I already figured mine and that at $3.39 a gallon for diesel fuel and a ten gallon tank on the tractor I was looking at plenty of vacation time right in my little orange cab at a fraction of the cost of airfare.
She then proceeded to ask me if I was feeling alright and that I spend way too much time with that tractor.:laughing:

I spent the whole day knocking down snowbanks for my Neighbors. It was a good day out talking and working together. It has been some time since I have seen so much snow so fast. I am sure I will be out again today doing more.

God I'm happy I read this forum! Now I think I'm almost normal! I always believed I had to be the only guy that did the whole neighborhood just because I was having fun.
