Not sure if I'm understanding the question correctly because I've been thrown off by some of the replies is it the largest "Garden tractor"?
your asking about. or the largest Lawn tractor... as in riding Mower/tractor?
If it is Lawn tractors your talking about I've seen a few large lawn tractors such as Craftsman & Cub Cadet, and today I purchase what seems to be a rather large or at least large in its time yard tractor, Not sure exactly how old it is? but would guess early 80's perhaps late 70's
actually I'm hoping to find out more about this Roper as I go along? Perhaps someone here might know something about them? it came factory with a Rotor tiller attachment that connects to the rear of the mower/tractor and is belt driven from underneath,
the mower is in need of full resto but luckily it is all there

i picked up a international cub low boy. big lawn tractor 1500 lbs 4 cylinder gas 3 point hitch pto ..can handle 60 inch deck/ flail mower rottary cutter 55 inch snow blower /fel nice machine for the $,, i paid a grand for this one

You guys haven't mentioned a Allis Chalmers 616/620 or the Simplicity equivalent.

It has a Cat 0 3 point and 2000 rpm PTO, which in my mind makes it a garden tractor, not a sub compact.
It looks like a miniature 190 - I would love to have one.

I would call the Cub Lowboys sub compacts and not garden tractors.

Garden tractors have hydrostatic drives. Compacts could have gear drive.

4WD is not a necessity for gardens, the old PK Economy pulled a single 14 great no spin.
