Anyone ever build a quickhitch for a 3pth??

I dunno if you can build one cheaper then harbor freight? Got mine from them on sale with 20% off for less then 90 bucks with tax. For cost of metal alone.....
I don't think its a complicated design. its basically has a spring inside around rod. the handles on top is camed shaped so when flipping it to "unlock" or lock.

I have a HF quick hitch. Think it was $79 plus about $20 shipping. Very happy with it so far. Had to modify my box scraper a bit, but like just backing up and hitching that heavy sucker up! I couldn't buy the stock to make one for that.

I just picked up a HF quick hitch this past weekend. It was $79 before the 20% off coupon. I also need to modify my box blade but other than that it works great and don't think I could make one for less.
I've read where a lot of people who purchased the HF quick Hitch say they had to make modifications to their box blades and other attachments. Can those of you who did post pics of how you did the modifications?

I built one a while back. It has worked and continues to work very very well.
I am not sure how the insides work on the HF version, but that question was asked about mine too. I detailed it out in the thread. with pics. You can check out that thread. The link is in my signature.
