Paul,

I've been looking forward to your next "mod" and looks like you got into more than you bargained for on this one. But in usual form, the outcome is nothing less than first rate!! I'll look forward to the UTube video so we can all hear that great new sound system!

Seems like the winter snow has finally settled in for you and is keeping you quite busy - bet that new sound system will help make your snow removal more enjoyable! Heck, you may find yourself going out to remove snow even when it is less than your contractual obligation - just to listen to tunes!!

Also sounds like you have a new shop stereo with the use of that handy remote control - but I do agree with one of the members in that now you will have to get some exterior speakers mounted so you can also have a PA system on the Kubota!

Take care and enjoy the snow and the tunes!

PS - really enjoyed seeing the video of your son playing Dead or Alive!

Thanks Thomas. It's been fun using the beast this week. I put over 20 hours in the seat. We're getting snow on a daily basis now and it's really piling up. I have to work tomorrow using the bucket to move some of it out of the areas where it's piled up.

That being said the stereo wasn't the "Next Project". The stereo happened because I had a speaker crap out so I had to lift the roof off and seeing I had to do that I upgraded the stereo at the same time.

The next project will be a very different one. Haven't seen it done on a tractor before. When I can shake these 15 hour days I'm going to start in at it ;)
Glad you enjoyed the video of my son. He just got back last night on Canadian soil for some R&R. Sure is nice to know he will be safe for awhile.
How is your rig working out this winter? Always great hearing from you. Thanks for posting, Paul

Here's a few pics I snapped with my phone.

Yea! I know what you mean about the snow piling up!! We've had it pretty bad here in Michigan as well. I may have to get my bucket out to move some snow as well - if I can find under all the snow!!!

So, looks like we all have another surprise coming our way! Can't wait!

That's got to be a great feeling knowing your son is back home and out of harms way. Hope you get a chance to visit with him while he's home!

I couldn't be happier (other than trading tractors with you!) with how this machine has changed my life this winter with the snow. Last winter I only had my Toro lawn tractor with a 42" manual blade on the front. It worked ok for clearing the lake for the kids to ice skate, but it was a real struggle on the driveways. The Kubota with the "Paul Shorts" designed snow plow attachment has been the cat's meow!!

Thanks for posting, Paul

Always enjoy the pics!! Here's a few of my own playing out in the snow.

Thanks Thomas for the credit on the plow design. I've gotten about a dozen phone calls from all parts of the USA and Canada asking me about it and some of the other stuff I've done with the tractor. It's wild to know people actually read my threads. I call it "The Ultimate Compliment" :)

Man they tell me my tractor looks clean! Well sir yours isn't exactly filthy  Oh boy it's a looker though. Glad to hear your enjoying the machine. Good things come to good people. Now you know why you have it ;)

Yes I think this other project will be a cool project. I'm still pondering the design over and over in my head. I never write anything down. It's more of a mental image I have embedded in my little brain and when the image become clear I build it. It's almost there now and almost in focus

OH man mom and I are so happy the boy is back for awhile. Tonight he's having a wing night at his brothers with friends over, playing music and playing with his brothers beagle. Life is good and we're all very proud of him.

Had to plow snow again this morning and more snow is on the way tonight. The average snowfall for February here is 72 cm's for the full month. So far this month we already have 84 cm's. Tomorrow I will spend the day moving it to make room for more.

Thanks for posting the pics. You've got yourself a great snow weapon

I can hardly wait to see this new project and I'm betting it's a big screen HDTV! :)

I'm glad to hear your son is home for some R & R. Hopefully the rest of his tour will go as smooth and safe as the first part.

Gee Don. I gotta get me one of them lights

I'm thinking about going 3-D. Plant it on the rear on top of the blower pointing at the cab that way I can view it via the reverse camera

Thanks buddy. He'll enjoy his time off. I think he's heading out today to reward himself with a new Les Paul. :D
