Re: Can\'t seem to sell my B7100HST...

Ben

I'm in South Jersey. Main difference I'm aware of between BX and B7100 is that the B7100 does not have power steering. But the B7100 has an additional 3 inches of clearance and while the 3ph on my tractor will take standard cat 1 implements....I'm not sure that the BX will....but I'm not sure as I have not researched the BX that much.

Re: Can\'t seem to sell my B7100HST...

According to the BX1800/2200 Kubota brochure I have they do have a Category-I 3PH.

Re: Can\'t seem to sell my B7100HST...

The BX does indeed have a "standard" Cat 1 hitch. You just have to watch the weight of the implement and any ground clearance issues....

Keep in mind that while there are specs for a "standard" in place, defining Cat1, a lot of manufacturers use it as a guideline more than the rule. I have 3 Cat1 implements for my BX, a 50" tiller, a 48" box blade and a 6' rear blade. They all fit just fine. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Re: Can\'t seem to sell my B7100HST...

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that...

(1) the B9200 was the predecessor to the 24hp B2150 and that
(2) the B8200 was the predecessor to the 20hp B1750.

Either way won't make much difference on why Skgolfer can't sell his tractor as quickly as he'd like.

My observations from East Tennessee is that starting with the introduction of the flat-deck models (B7300/B2400 etc) and continuing with the second generation flat-deck models (the "10" series), the prices of the older non-flat deck models have really dropped. I'm surpised at the low price on a used B2150HSD (under 400 hours/60"mid-mower/bi-speed turn option) at my local dealer...and it hasn't sold in over a year.

I have to admit that the design features on the newer flat deck models often tempt me to consider trading my B7100 and/or my B2150 (for a B2910??).

Good luck in selling your tractor,
Kelvin

Re: Can\'t seem to sell my B7100HST...

Thanks for the support. It still amazes me that this thing didn't get scooped up right away. It's a terriffic machine and it can be had for at least $4k below a similarly equipped bx2200. It only has 150 hrs.

no the 8200 was the forerunner to the 2150. Read it on a Website
