Just got my Wallenstein BX42s Wood Chipper.

I bought it from Woodward Crossings Vacation and Cabin Rentals | Wallenstein Woodchippers Very fast delivery.

WOW. Very nicely built. Very rugged. Took me an hour to un-crate it (very well packaged! Not one scratch on it) and get it assembled, I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I cant wait.

Now I have to try removing the backhoe for the first time.

Man, those guys must think their stuff is extra special. $2044 for a 33" chain drive tiller. Only 4 blades per flange per too..

Sorry to correct you Haywire , but the BX42 is direct drive from the pto ,

I have one also, can't wait till snow gone to get rid of the many trees I felled to make my ATV trail to sugar bush.

Its a really nice looking machine You will like it

I've been looking at them for years, but you can have the credit for pushing me over the edge.. I missed a used one for $1500 a couple years ago.

I was blown away the first time I used mine. I think you will be too.
Since a dealer didn't prep it you might check to see if it needs grease.
Taking the backhoe off usually goes pretty smoothly. Putting it back on takes me longer.
Enjoy the new tool!

First thing I did was grease it. I still have to check/adjust the the blade

Bad weather coming in here so I still haven't got to play with it yet. Just got done putting it in the shed and covering the loader up.

Oh well spring had got to come soon.

How tall was the crate that it came in? I'm trying to figure if I'll need to get the ladders off my rack to get mine in the truck.
