check the rears thats what tilts the tractor.

Yep! Has to be the rear to change anything.

not the case on this machine, only a light for MFWD.

ok....there should be some lights on the dashboard that tell whether its in neutral, high,mid or low range. make sure its actually in gear.

JD should but don't have a light or any means of telling which range your in. Just got to remember not a big deal with a little seat time.

there or no dash lights for gears on these tractors, and only has high and low......
