Update campaign FC6192 Steering cylinder mount

Actually, that IS the update. They zip-tie the hose like you did, but they run the zip-tie through a clear tube. I guess to keep the tie from rubbing through the hose??

Also,
Don't zip tie it too tight. Leave some room for expansion.

Thanks Wacky,

Regarding the brackets it would appear my right side is correct but the left side is backwards. My rad hose has worn through to the reinforcing fiber in two spots, one from the control lever and an equal gouge from the corner of the engine directly beside the lever (or some stationary device attached to the engine).

Wacky, want to add that your steering cylinder boot looks torn around the outer clamp.

Wacky, want to add that your steering cylinder boot looks torn around the outer clamp.

Thanks. I saw that, trying to figure out a better boot/clamp system. That little "spring" clamp over the tear is not the best set up. I use mine around the farm for firewood gathering and cutting brush with my rotary cutter. After 25 hrs. that happened. I have moved that spring back over the boot, it is just sealing now, but I am not sure how something with that little tension even works to keep water out.
