straps and chains. Maybe overkill but wasn't taking any chances. especially with it being my first trip with her and on the interstate to boot.

My 08 Dodge 2500 Quad Cab, 4x4 diesel, usually pick up a couple rolls of hay and use my CK 20 to push them off for my horses. Pulls the trailer and tractor as if it was not there.

I hear that sometimes about pulling trailers, I pulled a few that I couldnt tell if they was back there or not, but this load wasnt the same, it was back there and it let me know it.

 Nice! How much you think you got on that trailer?

The tractors weight is 9000lbs, thats with fel and tires filled with water, and that is 10 round bales, 4x5's, I am guessing 700 to 800 lbs each, so about 16500lbs.
I only had to haul this load 6 miles on a farm road, and with someone behind me. I wouldnt pull a load like this down a freeway.

I bet that trailer is 5,500# itself. So that puts you at about 22,000#. No problem at all for a truck like that.

It would of been about that on trailer weight, its a 29' longhorn, I added 12k axles and 3" channel every 12" for the flooring, it weighs about 6300lbs.

Yep, the get heavy real quick. I had a 25+5 GN 25,000# GVWR with dual 12K axles. It had the center flip up ramp and a winch. That thing was 6,500# empty. Pulled it with a 99 7.3L F-350 SRW 4x4. Heaviest thing I had on it was a Case tractor, about 18,000#. We pulled it about 70 miles.
