LS4020 hydro
After 5yrs of waiting and 1yr of looking at everything that is on the market i finally order a ls 4010 hydro yesterday Also brought a 7ft kodiak back blade that slides and a pallet fork. Then if that was not exciting enough the ls rep called me to inform me that the R4010 would not be able to be shipped until the end of the month (must be selling a few tractors). He was wondering if i would be interested in the R 4020 for a few hundred dollars more. I now have a R4020 hydro come in about a week. Thanks to everyone for all the post!! it really help me to get things narrowed down to my final purchase . This is really a great site with some great guys , I'll be posting again when i take deliverly

CONGRATULATIONS! Sounds like you got a really great deal. Don't forget the pictures with the posts. Now it's the waiting game, but it'll be worth it. Welcome to the growing number of happy LS owners. I still haven't heard of a dissatisfied LS buyer.

Well guys that is almost the same thing that happened to me. I went looking for a 50 HP tractor, anybrand, with cab and finding none available at any dealer, when the LS P7010C came to view and I saw the price (it helped that the wife said ,"that big one looks better than the other ones", well I had it at the farm in a couple of days.

That reminds me. Yesterday a local steel erector friend asked if I could help him on a lot real close to me (building a house). I went over and did some earth moving for him. Latter I left the tractor in case he needed it.
He drove it back around 6PM.
After he used it he came in and told me "that is one stout tractor!
Twice the unit my neighbor has."
This guy has been driving tractors since he was 8 years old.
He was going to buy a tractor for his wife - now he's going to look at an LS.

You should talk to your LS dealer and ask him about a sales commission if he buys or at least get some discount on filters or something.

Congrats on the new tractor. You will be very pleased with it. Are they still using the Eaton hydro?

Hey Avatar...that's great news and I'm very jealous. As I recall, you were very much like me, a VERY SLOW buyer...Please keep me updated on how you like the 4020 as I too have decided (probably..ha!) to go with 4020 after running up and down the model sequence. I still haven't made the jump, but have basically quit looking as I have convinced myself to buy LS...I just need the funds to do it! Maybe I can join all you LS guys soon...spring is coming on and I sure could use the machine around my place..

I've generally found the more careful I am about buying something (especially BIG purchases), the happier I am after I finally do "pull the trigger" on the deal. I assume it's because after all that you can be pretty sure you got the best deal possible and know what you are buying. The only times I've had serious "buyer's remorse" is after buying something without thinking it through. So take your time even if prices might go up a little in the meantime.

At the same time I know EXACTLY how frustrating it can be after you have done all your research and are just waiting on funds to make it happen. Hope it all comes together for you soon.
