Not sure what you mean by "PB sleeve"?

A PB sleeve is designed to block the fluid from the cyl ports and pass the pump flow through the PB fitting for use downstream. If you don't have the PB fitting, then go to the valve manufacture and find the correct PB sleeve.

Looks like the valve was made in Bulgaria. There is a contact email.

They're also known as high pressure carry over adapters, most European companies refer to them as that.

A picture would sure help, on most valves you can't even hook up the PB hose if the sleeve is not in place since the hose actually connects to the sleeve.

I think the threads into my valve were #8 ORB, I added the adjustable elbow and converted to #6 JIC for the hose end.

Am I correct in saying that the plug remains in place (where the PB sleeve goes) if the valve is the last one in the circuit? It makes sense that way to me, but according to the wife, my logic is fundamentally flawed at the best of times.

It really depends on the valve...and not being familiar with the Badestnost brand I can't say, that's why a picture would be nice.
