Just changed my Hydo oil

my tractor is right on the 50hr service time.so im going to have it picked up pretty soon an have it serviced.an then change the oil every 100hrs.

I change engine oil every 100 hours, but only change HST fluid every 400 which comes out to about once a year or just a little longer.

ill change the hydro oil every 400hrs or when the book says.but motor oil i change every 100hrs.

It can be confusing, we have three Kubotas, one Massey Ferguson and a John Deere, so I have to check the manuals to keep track of the service intervals.

It is not a matter of money or time. Just following the manual. I was just surprised at the color of the used Hydo fluid.

In my Operator's Manual - Maintenance Service Intervals, Page 37

Engine Oil and filter
at first 50 hours - 200 hours - 400 hours then every 200 hours.

Transmission oil filter
at first 50 hours - 200 hours - 400 hours then every 200 hours.

Transmission fluid
at 400 hours then every 400 hours.

I seem to remember this being addressed in previous threads, but I can't remember the particulars. The HST fluid in my L5030 never gets dark and it is really hard to get a good reading on the dip stick.
