Thanks Devildog. I Hoped that was what you were gonna say. I keep seeing them on ebay, and keeping reading on here they are good people to deal with.

I hear everyone talking about making the trip to KY, but they're buying the bigger machines, like Ls. I guess it might not pay to do a road trip from PA for the potential savings on a BX.

First, most people are not coming/going to Ky. They are letting their fingers do the walking. Second, probably most of the sales are BX's and B's, they are just not being covered as much in this thread. Third, how much would you have to save to drive to a major tourist attraction (Lake Cumberland Area) and all the attractions between Pa and South Central Ky?:) Fourth, If you have to see and touch a newly final assembled tractor before buying, ask yourself if you aren't due a Spring vacation after this winter of cold weather, The spring blooming trees and flowers are starting to bloom in Somerset, Ky. Take a break, you deserve it whether you buy a tractor or not.

I assume they ship. What is the cost of a CUT trucked from KY to PA? Anyone?

I was told that shipping, on a B, from KY to NY, would be roughly $500.-600.00.

Road trips can be a lot of fun and it's the unintended consequences that bring in the deals. I've taken a lot of them over the decades and usually felt reluctant after the decision to go.
When the trip was over, however, I never regretted one of them.
We had a rule though, no fast food other than coffee, but to eat at "mom and pop" local places where we could sample different and local things.
These are really great for kids.
Just my two cents.

With today's fuel prices, it looks close to a wash- not including motels!:D

I have never been to Barlows lot but I have 2 tractors and a few pieces of equipment from them. I did the business over the web and phone. I would advise at least getting a delivered price for comparison. There prices are the best I have seen.
