Found this case of grease

I have a JD 60-inch 7-Iron deck, and every spring I pump a half tube of Deere premium grease into each of the three mower spindles. I cannot understand why it continues to take grease when there is no way any leaks out. I never see any leaking out of the spindle, top or bottom...may be a dumb question but WHERE does the grease I keep pumping in go? The manual for the mower gives me no indication of how much to add. Seems to me that after 8 years the spindles should be really full.

The grease from my spindles expels at the lower part of the spindle. Never noticed any grease on the grass. yeap, when i put in a bearing, I either prick a couple holes in the seal or remove it completely. Lately the bearing are made in china, so they are probably softer material.I only use this practice of altering bearing seals on my mowing equipment spindles. I grease the tractor about 10 hours use..Jy.

SHOOT....THAT would explain why the FEL assemblies under the exhaust pipe get dirty so fast...actually, I have NEVER found any grease underneath the deck but it may be so covered with grass and dirt when I power wash it every fall, the grease cannot be seen.
