Buying Advice Looking for a good price

In his area in NC there is a lot of money and mini farms, they prolly all buy green or new orange tractors. In SC we seem to have less and do with less, just my assessment. I hate the NC $$ coming down around my place and driving all the deer leases out of us locals reach.

Kinda like the Floridians coming to the mountains where I live and driving up the land prices to the point that no local can go into the Christmas tree growing business unless they have deep pockets or inherited the family farm.

I remember having that same conversation with my wife and it went a lot like that surprisingly close to that so glad I am not the only one but its all good now!

(My wife works at a JD dealer btw D'OH!)

The video reminded me to update my signature with my latest new implement.

I now have a Yanmar tractor with 4WD and Front end loader and many attachments that give me lots of seat time. At least my taxes are paid.

The video was great but i have no wife so i get even more seat time! I bought a YM1500D over a year ago and couldn't be happier. Strong little tractor. Also i went today to buy a FX32D from Ronald (the guy in Concord). Will be going back friday to pick it up. Second time i have been there at his place. He is a straight up guy and i enjoyed speaking with him. I don't think you can go wrong dealing with him.

Congrats Wildcat! Unless he has received his new shipment then once you get your Fx32D that may be the last one he has. When I went down to look he had three. It was two weeks after that when I bought mine so you are probably getting the last one for now. I think he still has an FX42D in stock...same as ours but with a turbo. Keep us posted on how you like it!

If you are close to Fayettville, check with Gene at Manning's Auto. I moved up to Northern, VA from Fayetteville about 3 years ago. But, while there I bought 3 tractors from him. Excellent service and I am think he offered a 6 month warranty. Don't quite recall, becuase all of my tractors were in great shape and never required warranty work. However, he did repair them. On one, I busted the FWD shaft and on another, he replaced the head gasket. I started with a YM2210D and then upgraded to a FX32D. The FX is a great series and the FX32D is a lot more tractor that what it looks like. It has a small, but heavy, frame with a lot of HP. I finally upgraded from the FX32D to a Mitsubishi 4201D. Again, another great tractor in a small frame with a lot of HP for its size. I finally let the Mitsubishi go for a downpayment on my John Deere. I had to do that to take care of the 50 acres of hay that I have to take care of up here in VA. If I come across another FX32/42 or a Mitsubishi MT4201D for a reasonable price, I will not hesitate to get it for my secondary/yard tractor. Both of those lines are great machines.
